Mar 19, 2005 Cloudy orange-yellow with a big white head. Yeast and orange aroma. Mild yeast and strong banana flavour. A good zesty and refreshing beer but with a short finish.

Aug 10, 2004 In the bottle. I picked this up in Bristol, VA. Kids, this is a nice Hefe. Delightfully cloudy even though I suspect that my yeast-caked bottle was pretty darn old. Beautiful full head. Aroma of cloves. Pepper was the dominant first flavor to bite the tongue. Then a wave of wheat that mercifully blankets the spark. I don’t find this to be very tart at all. This is light years better than the Club Weisse.

Oct 14, 2008 Medium offwhite lasting head. Opaque orange body. Light mealy bananaish aroma. Taste is very light, again mealy banana with chalky notes. Light, clean palate, soft mouthfeel. No separate aftertaste. It’s OK, but very boring. (0.5l bottle, ICE train Berlin-Leipzig, Germany.)

Aug 13, 2003 Cloudy and dark golden golden with a big rocky head. Aroma of fresh banana, yeast and some small notes of lemon. Flavour is yeasty with some fresh citric notes. Banana and yeast in finish.

May 5, 2008 Always a reliable beer on tap or from the bottle. Nice yeast and a bit of malt on the tongue with a crisp hit of hops. Well balanced and always good if you cant find any craft brews.

May 6, 2004 Draft. Hazy pale golden color with a big head. Citrus and yeast aroma. Well done wheat beer with a bit of clove spiciness and a light wheat taste.

Mar 7, 2003 (Canned) Good strong wheaty, spicy aroma. Appearance is okay, cloudy orange/yellow with a remaining head. taste is like the smell, bit sweet, spices and wheats. But a bit weak. Refreshing palate. Good brew.
