A great german beer. They made this with the best wheat and not having to add a lemon is awesome. I really liked this beer, The color and flavir where awesome.

I’m not typically a big Hefe fan, but this one is solid. The body is a hazy, glowing tangerine-gold. Pair that with a billowing head of thick, meringue-like, snow white foam and this brew just looks incredibly refreshing. The lacing is as thick as any I’ve ever seen, coating the glass entirely, from top to bottom. Scents of orange chiffon, lemon peel, coriander, clove, allspice, and banana cream pie are well blended and inviting. The first sip is just a bit of a letdown, as the citrus notes are slightly watered down and not as crisp as they showed in the nose. Creamy banana and spices are again a bit subdued. A lighter than medium palate is well carbonated and not at all sticky or cloying, lending to its supreme drinkability. Short, clean finish. This is nothing special, but it owns Tucher and Julius-Echter in the widely-available Hefe category.

Bottled. Cloudy white body with fluffy white head, wheat & citrus aromas and flavours. Had it in Barcelona in the sun with my good friend Alberto.

500ml bottle. finally rating this one. pours hazy dull orange with creamy white head. banana and cloves with touches of caramel and bread in the nose. flavor is bready, banana, cloves, and yeast. the malt notes comes off slightly oxidized. sort of a thin mouth feel for a hefe. a classic example of the style.

(500 ml bottle). Typical hefe in any aspect: Appearance cloudy golden, enormous head, lovely aroma of ripe bananas and cloves, refreshing crisp flavour with cloves. Very good.

A great example of a Hefe: Golden, cloudy, w/ a big frothy head. Banana & apple in the nose, crisp wheat taste, w/ a clean finish

Not with so much flavor, as expected, but anyway it has it, and with a bit of banana in it??
