Medium bodied with a refreshingly tart wheat malt flavor with a hint of parsley to boot. Finishes with a zesty wheat malt flavor in the throat.A very easy drinking brew. Nicely done.

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 15, 2002 Lovely hazy straw color, has a thick, lacy, bubbly head. Smells fresh and crisp with some lemon. Taste is very, very spicy, more Belgian Wit than German Hefe. Lacking a mite in carbonation, but still refreshing. MrRomero (1934), Nolanville, Texas, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 4, 2006 Cloudy orangish body with a volcanic rocky head. Probably the biggest I’ve seen for the style. Aroma is typical banana, clove, yeast, wheat, etc... but later also a hint of alcohol. Flavor is a step above the ’typical’ hefe making this an enjoyable experience. A tad bit of alcohol in the flavor, usually I can’t detect any. StewardofGondor (1934), Washington Heights - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 27, 2004 Updated: Apr 26, 2006Update, and a long time coming. Used to be one of my classic default beers, and I still enjoy it, only it’s not as good as I once thought it’s was in my younger years. The need to finally update this rating comes from having it on tap at Lowenbrau in Munich. Pours as a hazy gold in color with a nice creamy head. Taste is light, sweet and fulfilling. Easy to pick up traces of bananas and cloves, with subtle accents of oranges and a little bit of vanilla in the background. Refreshingly effervescent. Great, sweet and clean finish. A solid rendation. swoopjones (1923), Buffalo, New York, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 18, 2004 The green bottle probably didn't help this one. Aroma was grass and lemons. Appearance was a cloudy yellow. Flavor was bananas, lemons, and wheat with a slight skunk character. It was ok but little else.
