Aroma is spicy, banana-like, wheaty, a touch fruity and a little dusty almost like it has a little damage from light. Flavour is sweet, wheaty and spicy with underlying biscuit character and notes of fruit (banana), bubble gum, alcohol, cereal, bread and a little soap. There is more banana in the aroma than in the taste. Very pleasent and well crafted hefe, excellent. swoopjones (1905), Buffalo, New York, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 3, 2005 An immense, rocky head falls slowly over a thick, cloudy, golden/wheat body. Big, bold, classic Hefe aromas, heavy on the clove with additional green grapes and smoke. Aromas are bigger than the flavor which falls a little flat in comparison. The yeasty goodness is still abundant, but it doesn’t last due to the beer’s thinness. I concur with the previous rater’s comment about it being a "drinking weiss" (sic).
