Hazy golden color with a thick white head. The taste is sweet and fruity with a yeasty note. Nice on a hot summerday.

0.5L bottle from some bar along the Studio Walk at MGM Grand, Las Vegas. Pour is a cloudy orange with a billowing slightly off white head. Aroma of bread and a bit of sweetness. Some spice and clove in their as well. Taste is the full wheat body, slight spicy sweetness and more of the breadiness. Nice.

Bottle. Good gold color, decent head for the type. Lemon tinge below the hops. Odd aroma. Decent brew, but seemed a little lacking in overall balance. I guess I am just not a big Hef fan. Note: I drink this on draft this time in Eisenach, Germany . Very different from the bottle I drank before so maybe it was bad lat time. This time it was clean and a cloudy gold, with a big white head. Good nose, and very refreshing. Nice flavor of spices and fruit. I am re-rating this.

Light slightly fruity brew with a soft quality. Smooth with a great finish. A good example of a Hefeweizen.

Quite simply, there probably isn’t a better German wheat beer. American wheat beers WISH they could be this good. In fact this style might be one of the "original" session beers.

The beer pours out a cloudy, yellow-orange color with a stunning one three finger head which transformed to a 1/2 inch creamy thick cap which stayed during my entire drink. Aroma...bananas. And oh so refreshing. Even on a cool March evening it still manages to refresh. Some sweet malts and just a kiss of citrus. Bananas is the main attraction on the aroma though. Mouthfeel is creamy and smooth. Flavors had some nice maltiness to it, subtle citrus...maybe even a bit of vanilla. The flavors just meld incredibly well and transform this into a top notch thirst quencher. Might just be my favorite wheat beer, although New Glarus is very close.
