Lemon tinge below the hops. Odd aroma. Decent brew, but seemed a little lacking in overall balance. I guess I am just not a big Hef fan.
Note: I drink this on draft this time in Eisenach, Germany . Very different from the bottle I drank before so maybe it was bad lat time. This time it was clean and a cloudy gold, with a big white head. Good nose, and very refreshing. Nice flavor of spices and fruit. I am re-rating this. Odeed (1680), Bakersfield, California, USA

The beer pours out a cloudy, yellow-orange color with a stunning one three finger head which transformed to a 1/2 inch creamy thick cap which stayed during my entire drink. Aroma...bananas. And oh so refreshing. Even on a cool March evening it still manages to refresh. Some sweet malts and just a kiss of citrus. Bananas is the main attraction on the aroma though. Mouthfeel is creamy and smooth. Flavors had some nice maltiness to it, subtle citrus...maybe even a bit of vanilla. The flavors just meld incredibly well and transform this into a top notch thirst quencher. Might just be my favorite wheat beer, although New Glarus is very close.
