This is a good wheat beer, better than hoegaarden in my opinion. Extremely smooth, goes down nicely. Nice aroma and a good head. Medium body.

That was the first nonlager beer that I ever tasted. It remains a sentimental favorite. The first time I tried it, I drank it fast, and from a bottle. I hated it then, thought it was too lemony, spicey and generally undrinkable, I expected to see it bashed on sites like this, but I’ve seen only really positive reviews of it. That got me thinking, and I realized that the problem wasn’t in the beer, but in the way I was drinking it, tried it again, this time sipping it slowly from a glass, and the taste opened up to me. And I loved it. It’s smooth,a bit yeasty, and looks a bit murky, amd the banana taste lingers a bit in the background.

Draft Paulie’s Pub and Grille- A cloudy orange with a good white head. Aroma of banana, cloves, and wheat. Taste of banana, whet, citrus, and coriander. A great Hefe but not as good as Paulaner IMO.

Golden and cloudy with a large rocky white head. Clove and some banana aroma, smells delightful. The taste is a bit disappointing. An initial malty taste fades into a refreshing wheat finish. A good representative of how a hefe should look and smell, but uninspired taste.

(on bottle)Strange roasty notes with the sents of Brussels sprouts. Very full mouth of yeasts and whiped-cream-likefullness. (The mates tells me that the Brussels sprouts are still there, but I don´t think so)Very good carbonation and a good, wheaty finish.

Update - had this on draft at the Reading Oktoberfest this past weekend, don't know what I was thinking the first time around when I tasted this, but this beer was much better now, maybe my taste buds for German wheat beers have been enhanced, this had a nice cloudy murky golden appearance, huge bubbly soft white lacy head, lots of spiciness, lots of banana flavors & coriander, very very smooth & drinkable, excellent wheat beer
