Aromas are a bit metallic at first (like a Becks or Heineken), but wheat/yeast comes through strong as time goes on as does a slightly spicey air of cloves. Flavor is light and cloves and yeast come through strong as does a bit of a lemon/grass undercurrent. Subtle, yet complex. esjaygee (1537), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA

Taste is sweet, spicey, malty, yeasy and wheaty with some banana. Feels like a Belgian Witbier to me. Not my favorite style, but still good. Swalden28 (1510), McKinney, Texas, USA

Poured a gorgeous cloudy yellow-orange with fluffy white head with excellent retention. Strong aroma of bannana that is dominate. Flavor has mostly bannana present with hints of clove with citris notes....Palate was light-medium mouthfeel, almost watery with medium carbonation..........good heff though.... Small amounts of spice in the aroma. Flavor was well developed with hardly any after taste. Spice in the flavor. Texture was nice, nothing too abrasive. A great anytime beer. Very drinkable. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 9, 2003 Typical blonde weissbier. Banana dominates the nose. Good malt flavor. A touch of hops in the background. I have a hard time distinguishing this from many of the other true weissbiers.
