Maß at Hippodrom on 9-28-07. I was exited to find that they had more than one real beer (not radler or alcoholfrei), so I got a maß for the veriety. Not the best glass for a hefe, as the right glass makes a good hefe amazing to drink, but you don’t get less than a maß at oktoberfest... Cloudy light amber, small head. Very nice yeasty banana aroma. Crisp, fruity taste with plenty of hefe taste in there, low bitterness. Good break from festbier.

Pours a hazy golden orange, with a tight, thin, persistent white head. The aroma is is fruity, yeasty and spicy, with notes of banana, clove, citrus, coriander, doughy bread and phenols. The mouthfeel is pretty good. It's a little too sharp, perhaps from too much carbonation, but not terrible. The flavor has strong wheat tendencies, with only a hint of the fruit and spice coming through. A fairly good hefeweizen, nothing too extremely but pleasant and quite drinkable.

Pours lemony yellow w/ full creamy froth. Aroma of ripe bananas. Light nectar with relaxed residual effers. Mellow flavors of the great hefe. The froth is so persistant on the pour I decided to drink from the bottle. You get this fantastic heavy cream mouthfull. Good stuff. Dry banana on the finish with a slight souring.

12oz bottle pours yellow golden and slightly hazy with a thick white head. A nice yeasty wheaty aroma with malty wheaty flavors a little banana and cloves. A rather crisp finish.

Bottle. Cloudy as hell. Good head. Full aroma of malt, yeast, fruit (banana). Great rich taste, pretty sweet, medium to full body. Yeast and wheat malt finish,, long lasting. This is one of the great wheat beers.

Was probably a good hefe but I have no taste for them. Had nice floral/wheat notes.

Bottle. Poured a cloudy yellow color with a two finger white head. Aroma of citrus and wheat. Flavor was citrusy with a good malty backing. Good beer.
