50cl bottle at the Nut House in Palo Alto. A very solid bet as far as weissbiers go. Nice cloudy orangish-yellow-golden appearance with a frothy white head. Great banana/clove notes on the aroma and the flavor. Flavor also has sweet malt and lots of yeast. Smooth and really drinkable. Hits the spot.

Bottle in Germany. Poured hazy dark golden with full head. Nice fruit nose with some spice to it. Flavor supports the nose and has a smooth mouthfeel to it. Clean finish

A decent hefe! Banana smell that doesn’t reflect in the taste. Dry finish, very satifsfying.

On tap at the Lowenbrau Keller in the Rocks, Sydney. Like the beer my review is going to be a bit clouded. Simply because this was free, one fifth ofa very nice and gratis tasting tray. I don’t really have to be too worried about giving this a fairly positive review because any beer that is sitting on an 88 percentile after nearly 600 reviews must be pretty good. Great presentation in the glass with a good cloudy body and bleach blonde head. Ample cloves, banana and other wheaty esters are present. the flavour is crisp and dry with a very pleasant palate. A shame the weather is turning colder as this would be an ideal summer sipper.

Pours must darker than most hefes. An orange yellow color with a poofy white head. Smells somewhat sour. Intial taste I would equate to a new pair of rubber sneakers in the mouth. Additional samplings give me tastes of caramel honey vanilla and wheat. Actually decent after a few sips. Additional tasting notes. When a lemon was added some tastes of wild yeast/ funk were present. i found this to be very interesting.

Clear color with branch glares. Dense foam and of long persistence. Intense taste with mildew aroma. Optimal.
