Pours yellow and hazy with a huge white head. Spicy and yeasty in aroma with a little citrus. Thin in body and moderately dry. Decent hefe flavor with no one distinctive feature but on the watery side. Bit of a metallic finish also.

Very weak (yet sweet) aroma; I don’t know why others have rated it so highly in this department. Very clear amber color, no cloudiness to speak of. Small-to-medium head that dissipated rather quickly. Very pleasing to the palate: perfect amount of carbonation, very smooth. Definant banana & citrus blend in the flavor. I very much prefer this to the Hacker-Pschorr Weisse I had earlier in the evening.

This is the beer that got me into beers as a hobby. It showed me that there is something more than Bud, or Becks (when it comes to imports). Now, years later since it’s been introduced to me, my sophistication for beers has changed a lot, and even though I find myself drinking wheat beers less and less, this one I’ll purchase every once in awhile. Amazing all around taste and very full bodied, with a strong spicy citrus flavor, and some hops to finish the job.

50cL bottle. Poured a hazy, golden color with a short but stable white head. Seemed a little more bitter than a hefe should be. A good hefe but there are certainly better hefes out there; still enjoyable though.

Draft. Hazy orange color, with white head. Wheat flavor, wheat aroma. A little too dry for my tastes, but then again I made the mistake of drinking it on a resturant patio on a Virginia summer.

Golden body with lasting white head that leaves small laces; Small citrus nose with a little clove; Balanced body to the acidy side, great carbonation, buttery fell that extends into the finish which is nice and long, a little watery, contains citrus, yeast and clove.
