Great yellow apricot color with must a little head. Nose is banana and cloves. Meadium body, with a light finish...sweetness and banana...but not too much so. Very nice Weiss.

Green bottle.

Pours cloudy gold with a huge lumpy cream-colored head. The aroma offers lovely fruity esters -- banana, passionfruit, lemon, nicely spiced -- but the flavor comes through too hard on the overripe banana for my personal liking, a bit buttery and the finish could have a bit more snap to it. The mouthfeel isn’t anything particularly special, and I’m left feeling rather ambivalent about this one.

Bottle; poured a white head that lasted. Hazy, light amber hue. Hints of banana, flowers, and grapefruit. Light citrus taste. Oily texture with soft carbonation. OK but not a favorite.

This great hefe pours the tell-tale hazed golden yellow with a strong aroma of banana and clove with some bread and citrus. Flavor is much the same with some peppery clove in the finish. Good beer.

Big fat foamy head, a hazy yellow color thats golden, and thousands of bubbles rising in the beer. Aroma isn’t to bold, but of that rotten fruit smell that i love in germany and beligum styles. Not a overbearing flavor of wheat but some enjoyable hints of banana and sour apple. Didn’t think i was going to like this much since it was from spaten, but it turned out to be very quaffable.

Pale yellow, hazy pour with huge, frothy white head. I thought this was a solid hefe. Sweet, yeasty, wheaty, fruity nose that is dominated by banana esters. The flavor hit on coriander, allspice and sweet fruits, especially banana. Slight lemon flavor. Medium body, lively carbonation, short finish.
