I really liked this hefeweizen. Poure a cloudy brownish orange, pretty carbonated for a hefe ... lots of tiny bubbles making their way from bottom to top. Head was medium sized, white and lasted a good while. Thick creamy lace all around the glass. Aroma is yeasty with hints of banana and wheat. Taste is very nice, all wheat, fruit and malt with a lightly sweet finish. Feels very silky in the mouth and you can detect the light sting of carbonation. All in all, a very good hefeweizen, in my estimation.

(0.5L Bottle) I have tried this beer many times before, but didn’t sit down to rate it until now. Hazy with a nice, lasting head. Noticeable banana taste, with a slight vanilla aftertaste. Overall a very smooth, drinkable beer.

Bottle. Fresh banana aroma. Hazy yellow colour with a thick white head. Very bubbly but not much taste at all.

Pale yellow, hazy pour with huge, frothy white head. I thought this was a solid hefe. Sweet, yeasty, wheaty, fruity nose that is dominated by banana esters. The flavor hit on coriander, allspice and sweet fruits, especially banana. Slight lemon flavor. Medium body, lively carbonation, short finish.

Pours a murky amber, with a creamy fluffy white head. Aroma is typical hefe, bananas and cloves. Taste follows from aroma. Clean finish.

(500 ml bottle from <A HREF=http://www.ratebeer.com/Place/maine/augusta/l target=blank>Lou’s Beverage Barn) Pours a fairly cloudy light yellow-orange with a big foamy white head. Aroma is wheat, citrus and glue. Spotty lacing. Mouthfeel is soft and tingly. Refreshing wheaty and citrusy flavor. Seems like it’s lacking a little freshness, no telling how old the bottle may be. A nice wheat nonetheless.

Pours a nicely hazy golden color with a creamy white head. Spicy aroma of citrus and banana. Good flavor as well, but a bit watery on the tongue. Not bad.
