From tap pours hazy amber color with lots of head. Nice wheat beer flavor with a refreshingly smooth aftertaste.

Draft at Laschet’s in Chicago. This was quite a subdued Hefe. Nose was lightly citric and fruity, some banana and clove though more malty than anything. Taste is slightly metallic, somewhat bready, fizzy. Not as full bodied as I would like, though the caramelization is definitely there. Nice, but not my favorite.

The aroma has notes of apple and banana. The pour is a cloudy golden with a nice white head. The flavor is dry with apple undertones and a light crisp finish.

Crushed with Jakebra. Very wheaty brew. Looks excellent. Smells aight, a little nast. Same in flavor, but overall it’s mostly a pleasant drinking experience.

2008 Botte from Falcon Tavern - Pours a murky dark yellow with a small white head, aroma is all spice and grain, first impression was that this was not a weissbier but a belgian strong, spice and particulate wheat, finishes clean, this was awesome, will definitely drink again...
