I really enjoy this Hefe. Nice orange cloudy appearance, with a head that lasts forever. Banana and cloves are apparent. Sweet taste and aroma. I can get this in my area for $9.00 a 12-pak of bottles. Cannot beat that price. It is worth much much more.

One of my favorite hefe’s. Plus I don’t have to go far to get it. ;^) NIce clove flowered maltiness slighlty citrused. Large white lively bubbled head. Long lasting laciness on a dimpled mug. Not to complex in flavour pretty much straight foward cloves and bananas, perfumed soap I agree. A utility hefe if you will.(common) I like it bunches.

US Bottle Pour - Beautiful yellow-amber body with large white head... slightly cloudy. Deliciously sweet and citrusy with spices in the aroma. Medium creamy body with sweet malty flavors... leads to a very mild and sweet aftertaste. Absolutely delicious.

Quite simply, there probably isn’t a better German wheat beer. American wheat beers WISH they could be this good. In fact this style might be one of the "original" session beers.

The beer pours out a cloudy, yellow-orange color with a stunning one three finger head which transformed to a 1/2 inch creamy thick cap which stayed during my entire drink. Aroma...bananas. And oh so refreshing. Even on a cool March evening it still manages to refresh. Some sweet malts and just a kiss of citrus. Bananas is the main attraction on the aroma though. Mouthfeel is creamy and smooth. Flavors had some nice maltiness to it, subtle citrus...maybe even a bit of vanilla. The flavors just meld incredibly well and transform this into a top notch thirst quencher. Might just be my favorite wheat beer, although New Glarus is very close.

On Tab at Barkers Bar and Grill in Hudson, Wisconsin. Beautiful looking Hefe. Hazy golden color with a decent sized white head. Very creamy smooth palate with lots of spice and banana. Excellent beer.

Pours a cloudy golden amber with a foamy white head. Citrus and light malt comes across most clearly on the nose with faint aromas of bananas and possibly cocoa. Immediately spicy on the tip of the tongue. Citrus and yeast come across in the finish. A bit too yeasty for my tastes but overall a very good beer.

12 oz. bottle- Let me start off by saying that I had Iron Horse High Five Hefe directly before this, and this is what a hefe should look like, High Five I give credit for trying something unusual flavorwise, but this wins hands down in every way. Pours Cloudy golden with a nice thick white head, aroma is of citrus, wheat and yeast. The flavor is very similar to HB hefe, which it should considering they come from the same country, although I would have to compare them side by side to see which one was better. One things for sure, this is one style of beer that Germany usually does better than America.
