Feb 2, 2007 Bottle... Great color. Aroma is not as bright as some Hef’s, but dont let that fool you. Great taste of Banana, Clove, Citrus, Creamy aftertaste. Nice carbonation and lacing. Really a great Heffe. I’m always able to find this at my local BevMo.

Apr 21, 2007 Commercial description seems pretty accurate. Yeasty, sweet and sour, citric, smooth full mouthfeel with carbonation bite and some hop on the palate. Refreshing and very tasty.

May 23, 2007 Excellent beer. Golden colout, foamy head. Smell is fruity and yeast predominant on the taste. Also caramel. A lot of citric yeast in the aftertaste with fresh spicy notes. A beer to drink at any moment.

Apr 1, 2008 Pours a beautiful orangy hue with a bit of haziness. Nose is very nice with whisps of clove/ripe banana. Mouthfeel is light and clean. Taste is very nice with a spicy/malt alongside of the crispness of the wheat. The finish is perfect and leaves you totally wanting another, which I believe I’ll have!

Sep 17, 2008 Poured a golden color, settling to a light gold hue. Good head retention,lacing, lemony. Pear, banana, apple and yeast tasted on my palate. Buttery finish smooth as glass. Truly a world class brew that I will drink again.............and again...............and again.

May 1, 2009 500ml on tap at the Bavarian Bier Cafe, O’Connell St, Sydney. Even better than the superb dunkel version. It pours a clear gold colour, with a medium head. Extremely limited bitterness, it is instead full of some lovely weissbier floral and fruity notes. Exceptionally crisp and refreshing, it finshes with just the slightest hint of mango.

Sep 8, 2008 Golden cloudy. Very spicy and yeast wheat beer, love it. Lemony citrus with cloves and pepper. Fruity and sweet, but also well balanced. Crisp, soft, smooth and very refreshing. Yeasty finish. Man, this is good.

Nov 1, 2008 The flavor of this one depends on how you get the yeast off the bottom of the bottle. If you shake it up and get chunks in your glass, it wont be near as good as if you swirl the beer around in the bottle until it is all gone from the bottom and the last 1/4 of the beer poured makes the glass of beer all that more cloudy, and tastes worlds better. I have noticed that you win some and loose some with this one but this one I am having now is a sure winner hence the high rating.
