The first time I tried it, I drank it fast, and from a bottle. I hated it then, thought it was too lemony, spicey and generally undrinkable, I expected to see it bashed on sites like this, but I’ve seen only really positive reviews of it. That got me thinking, and I realized that the problem wasn’t in the beer, but in the way I was drinking it, tried it again, this time sipping it slowly from a glass, and the taste opened up to me. And I loved it. It’s smooth,a bit yeasty, and looks a bit murky, amd the banana taste lingers a bit in the background. mobrew (19), Oregon, USA

Great appearance, with a beautiful head and a very citrusy flavor. If anyone puts a lemon in this, they should be shot. vitorpro (8), Belo Horizonte, Brazil does not count | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 29, 2004 muito boa a cerveja...foi a segunda melhor q provei na alemanha....muito gostosa...avalio tb pela praticidade de se achar uma cerveja para comprar. punkrkr27 (638), Berkley, Michigan, USA

Cloudy yellow-orange hued beer having a long-lasting giant white head. Soft carbonation. Fresh sweet malt, spicy clove, and citrus aromas. Light-to-medium bodied that starts with a creamy slightly sweet malt with spicy flavors and finishes clean with no discernable aftertaste. A refreshing and delicious hefeweisse beer. Goes great with smoked pork loin and pickled red cabbage. Erdinger2003 (127), Ames, Iowa, USA

Very first smell is a sweet banana aroma. I Definatly taste banana flavors with orange and lemon flavors. This beer feels is smooth and foamy as it goes down giving a good compliment to it’s rich bouquet and full body. jrohn92 (105), USA
