Spicy clove/wheat aroma. Nice crisp, refreshing taste of sweet bananas with a real quick, almost bitter aftertaste. This is a good one. OlDirtyBrewer (11), Charleston, South Carolina, USA

Aromas of yeast, esters and slightly sweet wheat penetrate the air. Flavor is is close to the same with a higher wheat presence. ivan9856 (130), Arlington, Virginia, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jul 17, 2003 I sampled the 0.5L bottled variety, which pours cloudy but brilliantly deep yellow and with just a hint of orange color. In the appropriate glass, it also offers a large, bright white, effervescent head that left a trace of lacing. I give this medium-bodied beer extra points for the ritualistic pouring instructions that extract all the important constituent parts of this brew, including the pleasantly yeasty, spicy hops and citrus-like aroma. The carbonation level is just right--crisp and refreshing as are the mid-palate flavors of grapefruit, lemon, clove and cardamom. The finish is strong and, again, pleasingly refreshing. I’m rating this beer as a personal favorite. punkeedo (465), San Antonio, Texas, USA

It’s a full, complex brew, wheaty and malty. However, it has a soapy twinge, but not in a bad way. A good brew. becksgenius (106), Illinois, USA

Yeah it’s that good, at least if you have ever pondered copulation with a good weizenbier.... haddonsman (1234), Derby, Derbyshire, England

But the flavor, by god, the flavor knocked my off of my feet. Lemon and outstanding wheat malt, nice spice background....damn...hands down the best hefe I’ve ever had EVER.
