Nice cloudy color, rich semi sweet taste. Defintly a classic wheat which is my fave. I taste a little pear in this one. Quite good. jthg (68), Austin, Texas, USA

2. Awesome yeasty, banana-y, sweet aroma! But, not too yeasty, banana-y, or sweet! It is in your face, but not steppin’.
3. When it hits your lips, it is sooo good!
4. As I write this beer review, I need a new pint.
5. Some people on RateBeer love it, but only rate it a 2.9. Give this beer some love. Please!
6. If I was stuck on an island with only one beer, it would be this one. I would gladly drink myself to death with this beer! And, since it has yeast in suspension it would easily keep me healthy for 200 years. Minimum. Don’t underestimate the bower of B12!
7. The taste is really smooth - not bitter or malty. Just smooth. Typically smoothness in a beer comes from vanilla or oak. Not for this beer! :)
8. Delicious is the understatement of the year for this beer!
9. This is the only keg we have ever gotten that required a new european adapter. (we have gotten A LOT of kegs over the years!) And, it was a 13.2 gallon keg! ---an unusual volume for a unusually tasty brew!
10. Why stop at 9? Odyn (222), New York, USA
| 4.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Apr 26, 2006 This is probably my favorite beer in the world. The only downside is that it lacks "all day drinkability". Unlike some lighter styled beers, I cannot have more than three at a time on a warm summer’s day. Had some on tap at Epcot, and they were very good, though a little heavy to be refreshing in the late summer Florida heat and humidity. orville (160), Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, USA

I can’t but help put my nose to the lip of the glass as I pour. It’s just such a nice aroma.
Since its not a stout or porter I don’t really put much into the palate aspect.
EDITED: 01/01/08 I have to update this because I had the chance to drink this on draft. This was my favorite Hefe to begin with and the draft version just blew me away. The difference was outstanding. Everything was improved over the bottled versions Ive come to love. So Ill give everything at least an extra point. silo31 (8), USA does not count | 4.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | Aug 19, 2007 A really delicious Weisse beer. Tastes better on tap then in the bottle but still great either way. Nice cloudy pour and well defined palate. Hints of banana in the palate, clean finish and very easy to drink. A fine example of the hefe style BlackLabEddie (1), Dallas, Texas, USA does not count | 4.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | Jan 6, 2009 First beer rating and my favorite beer - may be biased. Murky golden beer with a golden thick head calls my name from the glass. Nice citrus and banana tastes.
