Aroma is of clove and banana, and something else that I’m going to blame on the glass. Taste is smooth and there’s just a bit of bubbles on the tongue. Flavors of banana and some bready yeast make this a fine tasting beer. It’s also good on tap, as I recall. Immy (1912), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA

Nose is big wheaty, spicy - coriander, light clove. Some bananna aromas. Dense white veil of lace. Fairly light flavor, more malt than anticipated. Naturally, is is wheaty, and the spices really shine as is warms a bit. Excellent example of the style. kamish (92), Lake Stevens, Washington, USA

Rather uniformly murky yellow body with a five or six finger thick off-white head that dissipates a bit more quickly than expected, but not completely by any means. Head retention is better than average. Smells overwelmingly citrussy with hints of banana. Banana and citrus dominate the taste. A bit more spicy than most hefeweizens... Nice full-bodied beer. Very tasty and pleasant. Best Hefeweizen I’ve ever had by leaps and bounds. And 2.19$ per bottle, it’s a steal. buveur (6), Seattle, USA does not count | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 22, 2005 From tap in the USA. Light and slightly cloudy with a large head. Aroma of yeast which sweetens the taste. Very nice on the palate, a full bodied beer. A little bit watery compared to some other hefeweizens I’ve tried in Germany. gunnfryd (3641), Kristiansand, Norway

Very hazy, clear yellow color, very large white creamy head. Smells typical from wheat, the cirtus and almost banana fruity scent. Frsh and sour taste, feels like a perfect summer beer to clench your thirst in the sun. Works in winter too of course :) coldbrewky (741), Saugerties, New York, USA

The only difference is that this is tastier. Had to call the wife to come and get me since the pub in town just got this on tap. This makes getting haircuts and going to the store fun again. A luciously smooth body that is sweet and then yeastily tart. I beer could give you a nice warm friendly hug, this is the one that does it.
