Aroma is of banana, spice, wheat. Taste is extremely refreshing, bready but not in a bad way, fruity, crisp finish. Hefes don’t get better than this. tplindler (37), California, USA

Good aroma, great taste, very refreshing. Doesn’t need a lemon to survive, unlike others of its ilk. SpudClampDawg (1027), Jasper, Indiana, USA

The lively head settles into a creamy pillow top to compliment the lustrious body. The aroma is slightly musty, noting ripened banana mostly, but hinting at the spiciness ahead. The body is creamy and smooth, highlighting the yeast’s fruity and sweet esthers, which are conveyed beautifully by the smoothness of the wheat. The clean, crisp finish suits this wiezen perfectly. Very enjoyable and very drinkable. gulf690 (21), Australia

Stayed till the end and left a beautifully intricate belgian lace. Nose was sweet but not cloy, a little dreamy and very enticing. Tasted slightly sweet with a bitter touch, while also being spicy and dry. Well balanced and a nearly perfect amalgam of flavours. Add a solid mouthfeel and a thrilling finish and this was one top drop. lagermonkey (597), Marietta, Georgia, USA

Pours a hazy pale gold with an enormous frothy ivory head. Smells of lemon and clove. Faint banana, faint skunk (I assume from the green bottle).
Sweet wheat malt. More pronounced banana here, less clove and lemon. Smooth creamy mouth. Clove in the finish. Tasty and goes down easy. One of my summer favorites. jhliesen (406), West Melbourne, Florida, USA

The color was yellow with a huge head. The citrus aroma overwhelmed you with large undertones of banana and wheat. The taste was exactly like the aroma, with smooth wheat and fruit flavors. The texture was just the right amount of chewiness. Easily found around the US, but it was special to have a German brew in Germany. kevin62 (267), New Jersey, USA

A classic hefeweizen this pours an immediately cloudy, pale straw colored beer with a puffy white head. Good aroma of bananas with a light yeast aroma and some bubblegum notes. Light citrusy flavor, yeast highlights the soft wheat malt character and bubblegum under notes. Light to medium bodied with good light carbonation. This would be awesome fresh.
