Not bad but not the best in the style. Paulaner is still better.

I generally prefer dark wheats to hefe-weissen, but of the light colored ones, this stands out. Nice balance of sweet and sour fruits with spice.

Banana and apricot nose with that hefe cloudiness and thick head. smooth flavor that ends with a slighly acidic taste on the tongue. skip the lemon wedge on your first one to get all the flavor.

I really enjoy this beer. It is very well balanced and almost has a champiagn aftertaste. Slight banana flavor that’s not overdone.

Beautiful, billowing head wiht continuous bubbling. Light clove aroma. Nice firm palate underpinning bursting clove and banana with long flavorful finish.

Pint bottle. Appearance of a typical hefe: cloudy yellow-orange with a thick head. Very wheaty, banana-y dryness. Nice and refreshing for the summer.

Re-rate: I’ve had bottles in various parts of Germany, have been pleased with each. Pleasing and on the sweet side, one of the better Hefeweizen. Cloudy concoction that’s a beautiful, light golden color up top and slightly darker at the bottom. Hoppy aroma. Good level of carbonation, sticky head, smooth creamy mouthfeel. There’s some banana in there, and a bit of a fruity aftertaste, nothing bitter. Refreshing!.

A very smooth beer, it would be perfect with a light pastry dessert or at the beach. It has undertones of pear and banana, and a soothing mouthfeel. Excellent all around and definitely worth trying at least once.
