(Draught) Deliciously fruity with nice hops, lovely transluscent colour. I love German wheats! Compliments German food well!

I am surprised that I never rated this one. This is a classic amongst german wheat beers. I will fluctuate in quality depending on where you sample it but at its best it is a tart, super refreshing bavarian wheat beer. It has a high degree of phenolics (cloves) and banana esters in good balance. Although refreshing, it tends to have more body and character than most weissbiers. Absolutely lovely.

Perfect big white foamy head! Typical hazy orange weizen color as well as sweet banana aroma. Smooth palate, taste is weizen-like sweet banana with citron flavor bitterness. Dry finish. This is another excellent hefeweizen!

On draft at the Sanctuary in Iowa city--and even on special for 2.50! Cloudy pale gold, foamy thick head, aroma of cloves and banana, just like a hefe should have. Smooth with spicy banana peel flavor, very refreshing in the heat. A great summer stand-by.

Excellent Excellent Hefe. THis is on par with the best in the field. Light golden with strong pear and banana scents. Taste is smooth a crisp with a bit of citrus in the finish
