Pleasing and on the sweet side, one of the better Hefeweizen. Cloudy concoction that’s a beautiful, light golden color up top and slightly darker at the bottom. Hoppy aroma. Good level of carbonation, sticky head, smooth creamy mouthfeel. There’s some banana in there, and a bit of a fruity aftertaste, nothing bitter. Refreshing!. JamesD (198), Centreville, Virginia, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 26, 2007 A very smooth beer, it would be perfect with a light pastry dessert or at the beach. It has undertones of pear and banana, and a soothing mouthfeel. Excellent all around and definitely worth trying at least once. bboeckl (135), Grafton, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 30, 2007 On tap. Thick foamy white head, cloudy pale golden color. Nose was of citrus, mixed berries, spices. Taste was of citrus, malt. Very yeasty, this yeast and thick froth give the bear a great mouthfeel. Very refreshing on a hot day. Definately a good hefeweiss by which to judge all others. I would recommend. onehotsexychic (101), Albany, New York, USA

Nice cloudy orangish-yellow-golden appearance with a frothy white head. Great banana/clove notes on the aroma and the flavor. Flavor also has sweet malt and lots of yeast. Smooth and really drinkable. Hits the spot. Ryan82SM (253), Louisville, Kentucky, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 2, 2008 The citrus jumps out at you, even in the aroma. The appearance is cloudy; almost a caramel color. As mentioned earlier, there is definitely some citrus undertones in the flavor. The reviewer that mentioned banana may be on to something. My palate experienced a lively brew with a slightly "burnt" finish. Overall, a nice beer, very drinkable and much better than that wheat junk that Sierra Nevada puts out.
