Great aroma of banana, citrus, and spices. Pours with a nice head that lingers througout. Not much lacing on the glass. Sweet banana flavor with hints of clove and wheat. A great beer after a long hard day at work... Or anytime really! Crisp finish.
I’ve tried a lot of Hefe’s and this one has got to be one of my favorites. The only thing better than this (that you can still easily get in the states) is the Dunkel version.

Clean taste, goes down easily, with an inviting cloudy pour. mink45k (7), Cedartown, Georgia, USA does not count | 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Mar 22, 2008 My favorite beer. Has a rich, creamy head that when penetrated by the beer, results in a malty wheat style with hints of pumpkin nad spice. Great balance and taste. Shannon127 (15), USA

The color is a little lighter than it could be, but still very good. The aroma is not as strong as some others. the taste is excellent, and the head is perfect. BusBoy (20), , California, USA

Exceptional head that is laced with easters from the yeast. A balance on the palate of citrus, banana and earthy finish. Earthy like sweet raw mushrooms. Not enough hops to break the malt flavor but there. Refreshing. Craybees (17), New York, USA

Still, it had a voluptuous head with a strong, spicy nose (hints of citrus and even banana). Perfect balance of wheat and other flavours. I can see why this is a standard for the style. The banana and clove flavors are much more bold and stand out more than a typical hefeweizen.
