Looks good, mainly thanks to the persistent huge white head. Fairly muted aromas of wheat and banana. Flavour has a bit of prickly bitterness, but it isn’t really that exciting in the mouth. Although there is an excess of carbonation that’s trying to make up for that. Doesn’t really seem to have the substance of the hefe, although that could easily just come down to this sample, which was a touch over the BB date.

Sep 6, 2008 aroma is dry, fruity and wheat. good aroma, looks clear yellow, with small head, flavor is sweet, dry, wheat. nice weissbier, no macro touch here. a "real" weiss even though it is widely distributed.

Aug 19, 2008 essa Kristallweizen alemã apresenta, bem nitida e pronunciadamente, os aromas clássicos das cervejas claras de trigo: banana e cravo. A espuma inicial, também clássica, tem aparência grande e irregular, de coloração branca. Há excelente formação de colarinho, com espuma de longa duração e corpo borbulhante, de tonalidade amarelo-médio.
O sabor já não é tão clássico assim, deixando um pouco a desejar em relação à outros exemplares do estilo. Seu sabor inicial é levemente doce e ácido, tornando-se levemente amargo no final, de duração média. O paladar, também abaixo da média, é composto de corpo médio-leve (perceptivelmente mais rala que suas pares), textura aguada (até demais), carbonatação borbulhante e bem refrescante e final metálico.

Jul 29, 2008 bottle. Dusty nose, minerally. Pale golden, amazingly overcarbonated. Cardboardy base, a hint banana, falls flat on the face after that, exits with a few typical weissbier notes. Lightbodied and fizzy.I had better alcoholfree weissbier - Kristall sucks.
