Pours a giant white head just like it should. Great bannana-like aroma. This bottle poured a perfectly clear light golden color. Sparkely. Seems like it could keep bubbling forever. Fruity melllow bananna, slighly bitter then sweet lingering taste like honey. Thin, highly carbonated mouthfeel. The head is now 1/8th thick and holding. Refreshing, needs a ham sandwich to go with it on a hot summer’s day.

Hazy, light golden color, almost no head. Slight clove and banana aroma. Very full mouthfeel. Has a slight nutty taste to it, some underlying honey sweetness and some bisuity qualities in the back end. Not altogether bad, just did not set my world on fire.

Wow, let me tell you this was pretty cool. Had it at this german restauraunt in Gibson City. Very cool atmosphere and stuff. So if you are cruising down I-75 and you pass PAXTON Illinois exit, it is well worth the 15 min detour. Golden in colour with a thin white head. Nose is citrusy with a faint undertone of hops. Thin bodied. but pretty darn refreshing.

Nice transparent golden color with a bubbley white head.Aroma of straw and a slight citrus hop aroma. Taste is very clean with a nice wheaty taste. Nice smooth mouthfeel and only the faintest bitterness towards the end.

Clear golden pour with a lasting, frothy white head. Extremely active carbonation in this one as well. Aroma is of straw, mild hops and some citrus. The wheat comes out in the taste, with a borderline creamy mouthfeel. Kind of like a lite version of their weisse, with a bit more body. Surpsingly drinkable and smooth. One of those beers I didn’t expect to like, but did. I prefer it over the weisse and dunkel. A great summer beer, and at least where I am, it's cheap... points for that.

Minus one star because I miss the yeast. Yes, I know its a supposed to be that way. Golden with massive egg white head. Yummy aroma with heavy banana scent and some clove. Flavor is good, but taste like a lot of the flavor has been filtered out. I like their straight Hefe much better.

I have yet to be dissapointed by a Franziskaner beer. This is typical for the brewer as it has a large white head that dissapates into a small one that stays around. Lots of carbonation and a great, light gold. Aroma has mushrooms, earthy grass and a tiny bit of banana. This is refreshing with a slight banana note. I didn't get the sweetness that others noticed. This is not the best Franziskaner.
