Clear golden colour. Big head. Slightly hoppy nose. Crisp, citric, bready, slightly hoppy taste. The Club Weisse is a bit soapy, while the Kristall Klar is not. This could be, because I drank the Club Weisse from the bottle and the Kristall Klar from a glass. Nonetheless a decent Kristallweizen, but nothing special.

I prefer the original Weizen over the Krystal style. Other than that, this is a decent brew. It has the head and color (although clear) and the aroma is intact as well. The filtering removes some of the flavor, but what is left is not bad. The filtering probably extends the shelf life a tad as well.

Medium gold in color with a gigantic head and brisk carbonation. Mild aroma that reminded me of some pilsners but with a touch of clove. Light and tangy with a soft wheat malt flavor and a finish that ended almost before it began. I liked it but really ought to save beers like this for the middle of July.

No yeasty aroma, very clean. Big weise head. Smooth and a little wheaty on the palate. Clean and refreshing mouthfeel. Not as fullfilling as the hefe but just as tasty.

Ugly pale color, no doubt, but look at that head! It's a good four inches and it doesn't appear to be going anywhere. Tons and tons of carbonation as well. That really makes up for the ugly color. A bit of bitterness in the nose, with a hint of banana?? A nice, pleasant taste, and yes, that was a hint of banana. A pretty damn drinkable beer... no complaints here.

This is a very refreshing beer. It has a pale golden colour with a big foamy head. Aroma is malty with some fruit. Taste is malty and somewhat dry. Nice mouthfeel and smooth aftertaste.

Nice golden color with a frothy head, good retention. Nose is spicy with clove, maltiness, maybe a hint of paprika or cinnamon. Good mouthfeel, malty character with a clean, dry finish. OK. I guess this isn't a bad stand in for my wife's favorite (the now defunct Spaten Club Weisse).

Much like the classic hefe, this starts with a snowfall white head, but it finishes more quickly and settles into a big white poofiness over crystal-clear yellowness. Subtle musty aroma. Smooth and malty with a VERY grainy taste.
