Jun 9, 2008 Nice clear golden beer under a brutal, huge foamy white head. Spicey aroma of top-fermentation like citrus, phenolic banana. Complex body, flavour of fermented wheat malt , spicey&fruity taste with a hint of lactic acid, moderated carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and aftertaste. Fine!!!

May 19, 2008 Bottle: Clear, huge white fluffy head, golden coloured; moderate citrousy-fruity nose with some wheaty undertones; moderate sourish-sweetish flavour, light bodied; "chalky" (!) influences in the sweetish-citrousy finish. Not the worst Kristallweizen, quite refreshing..........

May 14, 2008 [bottle] Super clear yellow/straw color. Pours with a very dense white head. Confusing. Strong spice in the aroma, with minimal ester character. Flavors are slightly tart, a bit of bland banana. Very strong carbonation, which seems to meet the style well, but come across as odd with the thin, filtered body. Muted flavors overall.

May 14, 2008 Big offwhite coarseish lasting head. Yellow body with carbonation. Head leaves lacing as it subsides. Clean bananaish and vaguely wheaty and yeasty aroma with chalky citric notes. Dry-sweetish mild wheaty taste with bananaish notes and fain citric, chalky traces. Overall a little mild, but still good. (0.5l bottle at Brauhaus Wolpertinger, Goslar.)

May 11, 2008 Pours a nice golden yellow. Aromas of of citrus, fruit, and a little yeasty. Flavor is crips, almost pilsner like. A little hops at the end.

May 11, 2008 0,5 l bottle. Golden color with big fluffy head. Wheaty and spicy aroma with clove, pepper, bread, vanilla and coriander. Wheaty, malty, clovey and papery flavor with hint of lemon. Sharp carbonation. One of the best examples of this boring style.

May 2, 2008 Franziskaner Weissbier Kristallklar is clear and light yellow beer with big white head. Aroma is fresh: wheat, banana, hops and some grass. There are also wheat and bananas in the flavour and also some fruits and some bitterness. Total impression about flavour is very freshing. Easy to drink but not watery and carbonation is quite much but it not going over the limit. Yeasts are missing and so some aromas are gone but instead of that freshness and easyness is getting back. Anayway, this is great after hot day.
