Light-sweet pale malty nose with a touch of cardboard and a tinge of acidity and woody hops. Light-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Pale malt-character with a woody an slightly herbal hoppy touch; moderately dry, slightly sweet, slightly bitter finish with a faint hoppy touch. A bit mediocre (14.05.08).
pivnizub (3630), Porúří, Germany May 22, 2008 Bottle (courtesy of Stefan !): A bit unclear, golden, smaller to mid-sized fluffy, lacy white head; moderate to solid malty nose with a touch of sour dough; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, malty base detectable, light to medium bodied; short grainy-bitter finish. Not too impressive............. Ungstrup (10824), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 19, 2008 Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007. A golden beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of hops and straw. The flavor is sweet again with notes of hops and straw, but also light notes of caramel. Quack-Duck (1611), Bodensee, Germany May 8, 2008 bottle. Clear golden yellow, large head. Malty with pleasant hoppy flavours. Dry mouthfeel, herbal and resiny hoppy flavours.
