O.K., quite well drinkable............ Quack-Duck (1698), Bodensee, Germany May 29, 2008 bottle. Clear golden yellow, mid-sized head, hoppy nose. Medium-bodied, grainy and malty with an intensively hoppy finish. Papsoe (9980), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 1, 2006 (Bottle 50 cl) Pours pilsenergolden with a haze and a creamy, white head. Aroma is pure, sweet malt. Medium body completely dominated by sweetish pilsener malt. Very pleasant, almost candy like. Only the most discreet hint of hops in the finish. 010306 bierkoning (4691), La Tropica, Netherlands Nov 7, 2005 Cookie caramel aroma. Sweetish, buttery, caramelly flavor. Diacetyl. Some hops, especially in the aftertaste. Very typical flavor. Jeppe (2635), Ølbutikken, Denmark Sep 6, 2005 Fizzy white head, golden body. Weird aroma with cheesy, herby and hayish tones and some sugary hints. Thin buttery and creamy flavor with notes of hay. Watery and uninteresting.
