MoritzF (3638), Ruhrpott, Germany May 14, 2008 (33cl bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Clear, pale golden colour with a mid-sized, diminishing, frothy white head. Moderately sweet and slightly sour pale malty with notes of cardboard. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, crispy mouthfeel. Strawy malty and slightly papery taste; sweet malty finish with a shy herbal hoppy touch. Average Lager (14.05.08).
Quack-Duck (1611), Bodensee, Germany May 28, 2008 bottle. Clear pale yellow, medium-sized head. Grainy and hoppy, quite mild. Not spectacular, but quite nice. pivnizub (3630), Porúří, Germany May 22, 2008 Bottle (333ml, thanx to Stefan!): Golden coloured, quite stable white and almost creamy head; light to moderate grainy-hoppy nose with a discreet tartness; soft creamy MF, light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour; short, creamy bitter-sweet finish. Soft and O.K. ......... bierkoning (4611), La Tropica, Netherlands Oct 17, 2004 Grassy, grainy aroma and flavor. Hint of cookie dough. Some hops shimmering through. Not an offensive beer, but kind of average.
