Bottle from Bockyhorsey. Pours a dark brown-black color, decent initial head that fades fairly quickly. Aroma is strong sweet candy-like chocolate, not much else. The flavor is like a pale lager doused with hershey’s chocolate syrup, sugary, milky chocolate. Utterly unpleasant, although it certainly carried a degree of curious anticipation. Mouhtfeel was flat to lightly carbonated, not sticky sweet, though, more of a cocoa, grainy type of body. Thanks for the opportunity, Bill and Wendy!

Thanks to KingpinIPA. Pour is brown with a respectable white head. Smells pretty good. Mostly milk chocolate...sweet. Thin taste of milk chocolate and toffee. Reminds me too much of chocolate milk and not enough of beer. Thin body, but decent texture. Much better than I thought this would be.

Had this beer on 6/6/2007. Aroma has a light coco scent . Color solid amber with good carbonation and a nice tight head. Taste is chocolaty and sweet. Starting with medium body that goes down smooth and a sweet taste coming on. Then the finish comes in with a bold coco flavor, some mild malt tones and is balanced out with a faint bitter feel. This is the best chocolate beer I have ever had and one of the best beers ever.

Cola like pour with a head that was somewhere between off-white and tan. Light lacing. The aroma was chocolate. Bakers chocolate. The flavor was more chocolate (what’d you expect?) and some roasted malt. The mouthfeel was watery and the carbonation was a tad overactive. Barely got through the bottle. Quirky.

12 oz. bottle (2006) courtesy of Bockyhorsey - Pours a brown color with a half finger thick light tan head that faded pretty quick. Very little lacing. Has a wonderful coco aroma. Flavor is chocolate. Smooth, but watery palate. Light body. This was actually a decent beer. Way to go Miller. Thanks Wendy and Bill.

Pours a deep dark brown, minimal head. Aroma is overwhelming chocolate and bubble gum. Flavor can be described as someone took a Miller and a Hershey bar, melted them together, bottled the concoction and put it in the fridge. Sorry to say this was a drain pour for me.

Pours what looks like Pepsi with a thin head. Aroma of chocolate and malt and taste of the same, which was actually pretty good. A nice surprise from Miller.
