Bottle 500ml.
Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy acrid honey, acrid resin. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate acrid bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090807]

bottle from Co-op Newent, Glos. Golden colour, mid-sized head and aroma of honey. Medium-bodied, pleasantly malty underlined with the right amount of honey. Balanced off with aromatic and bitter hops. Well done.

Aroma has honey, grain and grass. Amber with little head. Flavour is hoppy and grainy. Medium body. Finishes bitter with a faint tang of not very good honey. Not the best effort ever.

Bottled (from Co-op). Golden color, small white head. Light citrus and plastic in the nose. Lemony hops in the flavor, finish has some honey, which has artifical feeling and tastes like plastic. Not very good honey beer.

Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is mild honey, some wood, grass and grains. Flavour is grainy, grass and some mild rubbery notes. Also a bit artifical honeyish notes in the finish Not all too pleasant.

(Bottle from Co-op, Long Stratton) Poured a dark golden with small white head. Aroma was predominatly honey, with a bit of malt and hop overtones. Taste was initially honey based, but not overpowering. Orange hop notes and a sweet malt backing. Sharp palate. Once you get used to the honey there isn’t much to hold attention in this ale. However, in small doses, it’s pretty nice.

Aroma of honey and hops. Honey colour with no head very clear. Taste of honey slightly carbonated neither sweet nor bitter.
