On tap at Hopfest. This was said to be a one off for the fest where the brewers went crazy with the hop additions. It is different than the Interurban according to the employee I spoke with. Great big hoppy nose - different than what you would expect from much of the northwest ipa’s we see. Floral and grapefruit, some earth and leafy notes on top of a pale malt backbone - dry smelling with little sweetness in the nose. Poured a pale golden, looked to be unfiltered with decent frothy head. Dry hoppy IPA, lots of citrus and floral notes with a supporting dry malt backbone - bread dough, biscuits. No caramel per se or iced tea like what we are used to. Very drinkable, solid unique offering. One of my favorites of the fest. I hate Jimmy Clausen.
