Aroma of spicy hops and caramel apples. Light medium body has moderate carbonation. Taste has a hint of munich malts, spicy hops, and green apples. the apple tartness leads me to believe this bottle may have been a bit off. Nevertheless, a nice drinker. unclemattie (2414), Georgia, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 3/20 | May 23, 2009 22oz bottle. Hazy, deep orange color. Thin tan head. Aroma of sweet wort, floral hops, and a bit of orange blossom. Flavor is a bit musty. Some distant Munich malts. Nice bitterness, hint of wood. Tastes like wood tea, yum-mee. No, it was awful. notalush (2660), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 22, 2009 The last beer from this brewer I had had the signs of an infection setting in, and this one has a full-blown infection going on - the nose and flavor are acidic and sour, with just faint notes of the original beer underneath, with flavors of nuts, caramel, bread dough, light fruity esters - I actually don’t mind the infection in this one (some beers taste better sour), but, as I know this is a flaw/unintended result in the brewing/bottling process, I can’t exactly rate this well - even the remnants of the original beer don’t taste all that good - meh. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 4, 2009 Grainy, light euro hops in the aroma. Flavor is a nice balance without going overboard. Mostly grain and hops, as was with the aroma. Pretty good, but nothing extraordinary. Beerlando (2322), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | May 3, 2009 Courtesy GodOfThunder. Pours a clear, dark orange amber color. A minimal, wispy, off-white layer of foam leaves scant traces of micro-spot lacing behind. The nose shows notes of toasted bread, lightly sweet grain, and floral hops. Flavors follow suit, easy going, sweet and toasty bread and cereal grains showing strongest. Lightly floral hops lend bittering balance. Light in body, with semi-lively carbonation. Eh, drinkable, but far from really good. Immy (1912), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA
