Sep 22, 2009 Bottled. A deep red beer with a huge bubbly orangey head. The aroma has strong notes of berries and fruit as well as notes of wheat and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, wheat, fruit, berries, bread, and citrus, leading to a dry wheaty and berry finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Medium body, sweet roasted malt and caramel - a whiff of wood perhaps. Very carbonated and lively. Still a fusty touch. No real bitterness. Something is not quite right here. 220909

Lingering breadish and roasted malty flavoured. Light bitter and dry flavoured into a lingering malty flavoured finish.

Flavor: rich chocolate flavor, nice sweetness with a touch of banana, lots of balancing spicyness, the flavor is all dunkleweizen until you get to the blend of spices,

Sep 22, 2009 Hazy mahogany color; poor head retention. The aroma has a suspicious apple feeling, with the caramel, and very light chocolate. Weak mouthfeel, some caramel flavor, but very boring indeed. Correct bitterness.
