Mild malt body, some grassiness. Not as easy to drink as a 5% beer should be. Some banana. goldtwins (4084), Nesconset, New York, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 24, 2008 I thought this was a little thin. A nice attempt, but the alcohol is way too low for the style, and really affects the balance. I like the yeasty presence, some nice spiciness, but a little on the sweet side, not quite cloying, but this beer is stretched in too many directions. Jmichael (633), Asheville, North Carolina, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 16, 2006 From notes 5/17/05:
Pours a golden amber color with a slightly creamy white head. Lacing was one consistent sheet of foam coating the glass all the way down. Aromas of bubblegum and cotton candy. A sweet candy air. Some yeastiness rears its head as it warms up some more. Sweet malt flavors; fruity yeastiness; more candi sugar and cotton candy melting on your tongue. No harsh undertones or rough edges here. Aftertaste involves sweet bread dough and, again, cotton candy. Thinner in the feel than I hoped, but I guess it had to be done to keep it under 6%. Drinkable and enjoyable on a Tuesday afternoon reading a good book at the bar.
