Sep 24, 2008 A golden color with a white head. The aroma contains some lemons and grass. The flavor contains a bit of sourness with some lemons and a bit of spices. A rather malty presence. Overall a pretty nice beer.

Jun 29, 2008 Draught at Barleys, Asheville. Nose is bready malts, crisp hops. Flavor is crisp and slightly spicey and slightly watery. Its fine, but not as much flavor as the big boss kolsch. Kolsches are hit or miss for me, the american versions are mainly miss though.
