| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 17, 2009 Bomber from Cindirene’s. Pours hazy canary with big 3-finger, clingy white head. Nose is pale malt, lemongrassy hopcitrus, yeasty spice. The pale malt predominates the taste, with mid-palate hops, citrus, dry floral notes, and that same late slightly tart yeasty spicy flavor that I’ve gotten in all FB beers. A good kick off beer for a ramp up session of styles. GeneralGao (3057), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 23, 2007 Draft at Barley’s Taproom in Asheville, NC. Poured a slightly hazy golden color. Head was white and reduced over a few minutes to a thin film. There was some decent lace left on the glass at the end. Smelled of yeasty bread dough. White bread dough. The flavor was similar and pleasant with the addition of noble hops. There was mild hop bitterness at the end which rounded things out nicely. Surprisingly good for a kolsch. shrubber85 (2911), Wallhalben, Germany
