timsilvia32 (445), from Michigan now in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA Jul 29, 2008 Gold pour, fleeting white head. Not much in the nose. Some light grains and maltiness. Tastes of the same very little hop effects, as was suggested by the nose. Acceptable carbonation. Pretty much an eh, but then again, I find most pilsners so. Nate (2533), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA May 24, 2008 From draught sample at French Broad. Beany aroma with light grainy malt and some grassy light hop character. Light golden-straw clear with no head. Medium light body with medium-heavy carbonation. Starts with light pilsner malt, beany, with light crisp hops in the finish. Fairly clean but not a crisp after, a bit muted and lengthy on the tongue. barcia (3), USA does not count May 5, 2008 Mmmm.. Nice and refreshing. Brillant clarity. Big creamy head. Smells of saaz. A little sweeter than most of the imports but has a nice hop flavor. BlackDonald (1127), Boise, Idaho, USA Jan 24, 2008 Just a typical pilsner, nothing more, well sometimes less. A fairly faint hop aroma, with some bready maltiness, crisp with a very clean finish. Nothing special. JCB (1713), Durham, North Carolina, USA Dec 6, 2007 On tap at Porter’s, Raleigh. A fine looking pilsner with a fairly robust nose but too little in the way of hop character in the body. Fine sessionable brew, but compares poorly to Foothills. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 04/12/2003

Pour is light golden with very little head. Nose is crisp, dirty hops, a little earwax too. Crisp, refreshing flavor, with some more dirty, spicy hops. Fairly bland, but not offensive.
