Tap. Malt and banana yeast aromas. Pours hazy yellow with a frothy white head; good lacing. Mild hop flavor with a creamy malt finish. Fizzy and light refreshing palate.

Draught at Fishmonger’s Seafood Market & Restaurant in Durham, NC. Clear straw color with big creamy white head. Nose is of honey, butter, and sprucy hops. Dry and slightly bitter with a hint of honey and grain. Very crisp and appropriately carbonated for a pilsner. Very good for style.

On tap at Barley’s Taphouse in Asheville. Pale yellow in color with a white fizzy head. Grassy with a touch of mango (?!). Certain banana esters. Fun pilsner.

Very Crisp, and a bracing hop bitterness to start. Nice bitterness throughout, actually. It lacks the softness one usually finds in European Pilsners, but still and interestin interpretation of the style.

Clean. Light yeasty aroma. Very true to style. A little tangy, crisp, hoppy and biscuity. Very slightly astringent. Clear light gold, clingy head, nice tap label. A very good pairing for food. Long bitterish aftertaste. Medium light body. Nothing too intricate, but nice.

From draught sample at French Broad. Beany aroma with light grainy malt and some grassy light hop character. Light golden-straw clear with no head. Medium light body with medium-heavy carbonation. Starts with light pilsner malt, beany, with light crisp hops in the finish. Fairly clean but not a crisp after, a bit muted and lengthy on the tongue.
