| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 22, 2008 I’ve had both bottle and draught, but I’m writing the rating from a bomber. Pours a dark orange brown with small off-white head. The aroma is sweet and nutty, with some chocolate and wood notes in there, too. Flavor is bitter chocolate, some lumber, raisin, and some planty bitterness. A little bit of alcohol comes out in the finish, but leaves a caramel aftertaste. Not too shabby. timsilvia32 (447), from Michigan now in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA
