22oz bottle. From a trade with TURDFERGUSON, thanks Sam. Poured a very nice dark copper, white head. Light roasty maltiness, very good aroma. Toasty flavor as well. Pretty good.

brownish amber under a small off-white head. toasty caramel aroma with some nuts. flavors of nuts and caramel. i don’t notice any peaty smoky notes. a bit over-carbonated. light-medium bodied. malty, toast, and sweet pretty much sums it up.

I’ve had both bottle and draught, but I’m writing the rating from a bomber. Pours a dark orange brown with small off-white head. The aroma is sweet and nutty, with some chocolate and wood notes in there, too. Flavor is bitter chocolate, some lumber, raisin, and some planty bitterness. A little bit of alcohol comes out in the finish, but leaves a caramel aftertaste. Not too shabby.

Amber/brown pour with a two finger cream color head. Carmelly molasses and malt in the nose and the mouth. Solid medium body and good amount of hop character. Pretty clean finish. Their 2nd best beer I’ve had.

650 ml. Translucent dark copper-brown with a two-finger head that hangs around a while. Aroma is earthy smoke and clay mixed with toffee. Flavor is dirty toffee and caramel with some oak, toasted nut, and smoky mint. Medium body is mostly smooth with some ripples of carbonation and tongue-tingle.

Poured a dark brown/black, with minimal white head. Aroma of smoked grains and some caramel and molasses. Flavor of brown sugar. Very dry finish is the only thing that hinders this.
