22 oz bottle. Dark cola brown with a big foamy tan head. Nose is cardboard and crayons then peat and malt. Medium body, silky smooth, with soft prickly carb. Taste is raisin, honey and sweet scotch with hints of tobacco. Reminds me of Drambuie without the alcohol. Tasty stuff.

Bottle sampled on 12/27/07: Transparent dark copper with a thin, spotty-lacing off-white head. Aroma of soft grainy caramel malt with a hint of peaty smoke. Body starts fairly full and caramely malty sweet with a mild balance of earthy peat toward a semi-dry finish. A pretty good Scotch ale.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours brown with fizzy head. Aroma of some fruit, some vanilla, toasted grain. Flavor of some fruit, faint tart, some dark roast, toasted grains. Mouth feel is medium body with high carbonation. Overall, pretty good shit!

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Vastly better than Wee Heavy-er in my opinion. Pours with a small, off-white head over a hazed deep brown body. Aroma of raisins, florals, alcohol, caramel, prunes, apricot, raisin bread and mixed berry jam. Taste is raspberry, bread, peat and caramel. Light bubbles and syrupy mouthfeel.
