Feb 20, 2008 (22oz bottle, thanks Schutzenliesel) Clear mahogany body topped by beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, some peat/smoke, plum/raisin. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, some raisin, smoke, light cola, candi sugar. Light-medium body, alcohol fairly well hidden.

Jun 16, 2009 Bottle sampled on 12/27/07: Transparent dark copper with a thin, spotty-lacing off-white head. Aroma of soft grainy caramel malt with a hint of peaty smoke. Body starts fairly full and caramely malty sweet with a mild balance of earthy peat toward a semi-dry finish. A pretty good Scotch ale.

Jan 11, 2008 Bottle… O-Town Christmas Gathering ‘07… Clear burnt-orange ale with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Good retention. Grainy, metallic nose. Medium-bodied with a dry mouthfeel and very mild carbonation. Sweet and lifeless; only a undertone of bitterness… too little… too late… nothing really going on. Sweet, watery, astringent finish.
