A light aroma of malts and hops. The flavor was pretty interesting; lots of spices and carbonation, very alive. Some light malt and semi-bitter hops. Some biscuit flavors and quite tangy. Not bad. A very decent lager. BrewDad (2370), Olympia, Washington, USA

It is orangish color and cloudy with a small white head. Faint aroma of hops and some fruit. Flavor is quite dry with a dry bitter aftertaste (despite the commercial description). There is some faint malted (like in milkshakes) and some grass. Very effervescent. This might not be a pale lager but it is interesting. Cletus (5057), Connecticut, USA

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 16, 2008 As a proud Florida native I simply cannot pass up a beer that is made in Florida by a Florida native for native Floridians. It even has the old-school Florida native tag colors and theme. Much like the Indian River Grapefruit tags of my youth, this emblem of Florida pride that symbolizes flip-flops, sunshine, beaches, and tiki bars. Hopefully, it also symbolizes a good drinking lager.
She pours a bright golden, almost sun-burnt hay color into my glass. A small head forms, but doesn’t last long at all, fading instead into a tiny ring around my glass. In the nose I detect sweet grain and lemon. The first sip is taken with great anticipation, and I am not wholly disappointed. Light, almost airy and effervescent on my tongue and in my mouth. Sweet grains, lemony oils, and a bit of malt comes to my attention first. As I delve more into my Native Lager, the malts create a symbiosis between the sweet grains and lemon flavors with a creamy sweet malt layer. The whole of the palate, while distinct in its profile, is still mild and laid-back. Easy to drink with a light mouthfeel and no real lingering flavors.
Not a heavy flavor profile lager, but instead Native Lager goes for the more light and easy to drink palate. Taking into consideration that the gent who created this lager wanted something flavorful and yet easy to drink after a long hot day in the Florida sunshine doing yard work and the like, Native Lager fits the bill. Personally, it lacks a bit in the flavor, but I can appreciate Native Lager for its intent and purpose, for which it performs perfectly. BelgianBeerGal (1303), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/20 | Aug 6, 2008 Bottle via trade with daknole. Pours a clear, light gold colour with no real head or lacing. Aroma of grain and lemon citrus. Weird watery flavour that was mostly corn and some more sour notes. Not offensive but not a good beer. Oakes (8108), gone rambling, Cambodia
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 5, 2008 Light golden colour. No head. Grainy aroma. The body is full for the style, balancing pale malt and grain. A hint of grassy hop late. Drinkable, but only in a pinch. BeerFanDan17 (625), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA
