ucusty (1871), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Apr 9, 2009 Hazy brown pour with a thin beige head and spotty lace. Pleasant roasty aroma with notable hints of nuts. Coffee and chocolate covered raspberries. tronraner (1905), Maryville, Tennessee, USA Jul 24, 2007 Draught at the brewpub. Pours cloudy mahogany brown with tight, light brown head. The aroma is roasty malts and distinct raspberry, with some sweet chocolate notes. The flavor has strong coffee notes up front, then some berry tartness. The finish is woody, and leaves an ashy aftertaste with a sweet berry kick. Tastes quite a bit like their coffee stout with raspberries in it... Not bad.
