Cloudy orange lager with a tiny, fizzy, white head. Earthy, herbal notes of black tea and corn. Medium-bodied with middling carbonation. Excellent balance... moderate citric bitterness; modest caramel sweetness. Crisp, lightly bitter, refreshing finish. Not one of my favorite styles, but Kevin did a nice job with this one. Should prove to have “mass appeal” at the brewpub. Beerlando (2344), Orlando, Florida, USA

No lacing noted. The aroma shows notes of toasted bread, caramel, cereal grains, and a light, grassy hoppiness. Flavors basically follow suit, with lightly caramelized, biscuity sweetness being balanced by dry grains and delicate, bitter grassy notes. Medium-light bodied with moderate carbonation. Easy drinking, smooth session beer. Nice example of the style. PhillyBeer2112 (2089), Orange Park, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Jun 1, 2008 Throwdown. From a growler. Deep bronze color. Nice citric hoppiness. Very pleasing nose indeed. There’s also a strong floral component in there. Flavor seems fairly light and thinned out, with just a touch of bready malts and very little hop flavors or bitterness, in contrast to the aroma. Clean. mgumby10 (1858), Jupiter, Florida, USA

Pours a slightly hazy amber color, with a small off white head. Smells of some light caramel malt, juicy citrus hops, and a touch of grapefruit. Not too shabby. The flavor was a little sweet, almost had a cinnamon thing going on, with some hop bitterness that shows up in the finish and lingering aftertaste. Pretty drinkable california common. Nice flavor and pretty refreshing. dchmela (1450), Orlando, Florida, USA

The aroma shows toasted bread and grains, some light caramel, and a touch of citrus hops. The flavor follows the same with the toasted bread and caramel adding some sweetness that is followed by the citrus hops and some bitterness. Light bodied and very easy to drink with a smooth refreshing finish. A nice little session beer.
