nearbeer (1833), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Aug 24, 2007 Draft at brewpub. Clear copper with a nice lasting head. Aroma is fruity caramel. Fruity hops and caramel malt on the front and slight bitterness on the end. Palate is light-medium, a little hop tingly, and slightly watery (refreshing on a 100 degree day). tronraner (1906), Maryville, Tennessee, USA Jul 24, 2007 Draught at the brewpub. Pours dark copper with slight ivory head. The aroma is very fruity- plum, orange, and lots of berries- and just a hint of caramel. The flavor is toasty with notes of mixed berries, allspice, and yeast. The flavor is like toasted wood, maybe some nuts, and a slightly caramel sweet aftertaste. Not outstanding, but decent. elmatador00 (518), j-action-ville, North Carolina, USA Jul 14, 2007 Poured a reddish brown color with a good size white head. Had hints of semi-sour fruit, spices, hops, and wheat. Finished with a dry hop taste. Nothing special here.
