hopscotch (5437), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Sep 2, 2005 Draft... Clear, golden ale with no head. Fruity, candied nose with light notes of butterscotch and sweat. Well-hopped for a Belgian ale. Just south of medium bitter. Interesting flavors of black tea, lemon zest and light apricot. Light to medium-bodied and fizzy. Finishes crisp and clean. Pretty loose interpretation of the style. Went down pretty well with my jerked pork... more than I could say for a Westy 12. However, I wouldn’t taint a Westy 12 or Westy 8 with a meal.
