| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 28, 2009 Draft – Gold, thin white creamy head. Soft nutty earth aromas warm to lighter swirls of citrus bread. Soft fruity earth flavors balances well on clean peppered cereal grain finish. Light bodied with soft carbonation. A well done session lager in my book. Not sure what happened with previous ratings, but I’ll certainly stand by my take on it.. nearbeer (1866), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 24, 2007 Draft at the brewpub. Clear topaz with a nice lasting head. Aroma of honey toasted dry cereal. Flavor is honey grain and slightly sweet on front, with a delicately bitterish finish. Light-bodied and refreshing. This is a nice Helles; if you must have a lager you could do much worse. roder60 (1030), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

Flavor bit sweet and malty, more liked mild pilsner with some saazy hop finish. Medium mouthfeel. ucusty (1912), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 14, 2009 Tap at main st brewing co. Clear gold pour fluffy white head and spotty lace. Lots of activity and visually stimulating. Corn and overly grainy aroma. Thin bodied. Sweet malts/grains straw, and a twist of hops. elmatador00 (518), j-action-ville, North Carolina, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Apr 30, 2007 Pours a dark golden color with a white head. Has some lacing. Has the typical malt lager taste. But this one has a heavier malt taste. The barley also stands out in this brew. Has some hoppiness in the aftertaste. Most of these beers have a hop aftertaste, the brewer must like the hops. wcampbell (582), Central, South Carolina, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jun 15, 2009 Weak and watery, but not bad for this kind of beer. This beer leans more toward the pilsener style. Lightly sweet flavor with some corn and mild grassy hops. Light carbonation. Some honey. Better than your average pale lager. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jul 10, 2009 This must be the one they brew for the Bud drinkers. Very light in aroma and body. Palate was towards watery. Flavor was sweet up front, watery in the middle, but had a nice dusty hop at the finish. tronraner (1934), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jul 24, 2007 Draught at the brewpub. Pours straw gold with virtually no head. The aroma is clean but weak; some sweet grain, a hint of fruit. The flavor is lots of hay and some dark graininess, maybe some spice. Almost woody in the finish. Not good overall, but considering what it is, it’s impressive enough.
